Wes has worked for the SBDC for over six years, assisting clients to obtain financing for their start-up or existing business. He reviews business plans and financial information to match the clients with the best loan programs to fit their needs. He also works with clients to gather the information and documents the lender will require and prepare the client to anticipate what questions may be asked by the lender. Until funding, he monitors the lending institution and client to assist both to a final, successful conclusion.

Wes’ professional background includes being a loan officer, wherein he developed and maintained a client base and underwrote commercial and apartment loans for submission to the loan committee. As a business owner of two successful enterprises, he uses his management and marketing skills to increase annual revenue, create workforce motivation, and optimize company operation. As a mortgage banker, he developed and maintained existing accounts, structured joint ventures and equity transactions, underwrote loans to provide acquisition and commercial financing, and evaluated market conditions for the feasibility of new commercial developments. A a marketing representative, he exceeded company sales projections in every position held, launched new product lines, developed marketing strategies, and earned a reputation as an exceptional new business developer and customer retention marketer.
