Pierre Polk is the owner of Airneffect Custom Graphics, which started in 2019 “with no real idea how to run a retail business,” he says. “I contacted the SBDC for the sole purpose of getting help with our business plan.” Once he signed up via the website, he says he found a wealth of information that proved invaluable to his business success. “We started out very small with a single piece of equipment and a reseller license.” Today they create custom graphic products for clients ranging from churches and restaurants to large corporate businesses.
